Presence

A website that loads fast, ranks, and brings in enquiries

Service and brochure sites for small businesses, built to score well on the tests Google actually runs. Typical build: two to three weeks. We also audit existing sites and set up the analytics most businesses never get round to.

Who this is for

Three reasons people call us about a website

You need a site and you need it to work

A trades business, a clinic, a consultancy, a studio. Five to ten pages, a clear list of services, a way to book or call, and a site that shows up when someone searches for what you do in Vancouver.

You have a site and something's off

It's slow on a phone. Enquiries have dropped. A friend said it doesn't come up on Google. You want a plain-language scorecard of what's wrong and what to fix first, before paying for a rebuild.

You have no idea who visits

The site exists but there's no analytics, or there's a tracking code someone installed in 2019 that nobody has looked at since. You'd like to know which pages bring enquiries.

What you get

Three services, one standard

Pick the one you need. Every piece of work below is held to the same measure: how it scores on Google's PageSpeed test and whether search engines can read it. One thing we don't do is e-commerce. If you need a store, we'll say so on the first call and point you somewhere better suited.

Service or brochure website

A hand-built site with your services, your area, your proof and a clear next step on every page. Written to rank for the searches your customers make. Structured data, sitemap, meta tags and image sizing done properly from day one.

Scored website audit

A one-week review of your existing site across four areas: technical health, SEO, speed and accessibility. You get a score out of 100, a short explanation of each finding, and a fixes list ordered by impact.

Analytics and search setup

Google Analytics 4 installed and configured, Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools verified, IndexNow enabled so new pages get picked up quickly, conversion events for calls, forms and bookings, and spam filters so your numbers stay honest.

Handover and ownership

The site, the domain and every account are in your name. You get a short guide to editing text, adding a page and reading the analytics dashboard. No lock-in.

How it runs

Brief to live site in two to three weeks

A typical service site takes two to three weeks from kickoff to launch. An audit takes one week. Analytics and search setup usually fits inside either, or takes a few days on its own.

Kickoff call

What you do, who you do it for, where they are, and what a good enquiry looks like. We check whether a brochure site is the right fit. If you need a store, this is where we tell you and suggest alternatives.

Structure and search terms

We map the pages, decide which search terms each page should answer, and agree the calls to action. You see a page list and a one-line purpose for each before anything is designed.

Copy and build

We write the pages and build the site together. You review drafts in a shared document. The site is built to pass the PageSpeed test on a phone, with accessibility checked as we go.

Measure and submit

Analytics, Search Console, Bing and IndexNow are set up and tested before launch. We confirm the conversion events fire, submit the sitemap, and run a final audit so you can see the score yourself.

Launch and handover

The site goes live on your domain. You get the editing guide, the account logins and a walk-through of the analytics. If you want the site to show up on the map too, that's our local SEO service.

Proof

The proof is the site you're reading

productgurus.ai is built the way we build client sites. On Google's PageSpeed test for mobile it scores 99 for performance and 100 for accessibility, best practices and SEO. Our own technical audit, the same one we run for clients, gives it 86 out of 100. GA4, Search Console, Bing and IndexNow are all set up on it. You don't have to take our word for it.

Questions we get on the first call

Straight answers before you book

Do you build online stores?

No, and we'd rather say so now than three weeks in. E-commerce needs payment handling, stock and shipping rules, and there are people who specialise in exactly that. We build sites whose job is to get you found and contacted. If you need a store, we'll tell you on the first call and suggest where to go.

What platform do you use?

We build lightweight, hand-coded sites that load fast and don't need plugin updates. If you'd rather have a content system you can edit yourself, we'll discuss the trade-offs on the call: editing convenience against speed and maintenance. Either way, you own everything.

Will it show up on Google?

The site will be built so search engines can read it properly: page titles, descriptions, structured data, a sitemap, fast loading and sensible headings. That gets you in the race. Ranking for competitive terms also depends on content, reviews and links over time, which is why we set up Search Console so you can see progress rather than guess. For map results, see our local SEO service.

What does the audit actually check?

Technical health (broken links, redirects, indexing, mobile layout), SEO (titles, descriptions, headings, structured data, sitemap), speed (Google's PageSpeed metrics on mobile and desktop) and accessibility (contrast, labels, keyboard use). Each finding is scored and explained. You get a prioritised fixes list, whether you fix it with us or with someone else.

Can you fix my existing site instead of rebuilding?

Often, yes. The audit tells us. If the structure is sound and the problems are speed, metadata or missing analytics, fixing is cheaper. If the site is on an old platform that can't be made fast, we'll say so and quote a rebuild.

How much does it cost?

Quoted after a call, once we know the page count and whether you need an audit or analytics as well. Hosting and domain costs are paid by you, in your own accounts, so there are no monthly fees from us.

Next step

Send us your current site, or tell us you don't have one yet. In 30 minutes we'll say whether it's a build, a fix or an audit.
