Show up on the map when someone nearby searches for what you do

Most local customers never scroll past the map. We set up and tune your Google Business Profile, fix your listings, give you a simple way to collect reviews and build a page that answers the local search. Two weeks to set up, optional monthly upkeep after.

Who this is for

Built for businesses with a front door

You opened, and the map doesn't know

A new café, clinic or shop. The sign is up, the phone works, and searching your own business name brings up a competitor two blocks over. Your Google listing is unclaimed, half-filled or plain wrong.

You're a trade and the phone should ring more

Plumbing, electrical, landscaping, cleaning. Your customers search "near me" and call the first three results. You're on page two of the map, with an old address and no reviews since last year.

Your details are different everywhere

One directory has the old phone number. Another has the unit number wrong. Google shows hours from before you changed them. Each mismatch makes the search engines trust your listing a little less.

What you get

Four things that move a local listing

Local search rewards a small number of things done consistently. This is the setup that gets them done, in a form you can keep up yourself afterwards.

Google Business Profile setup and optimisation

Claimed, verified and fully completed: the right categories, services, service area, hours, photos, attributes and a description written for the searches your customers make. If a listing already exists, we clean it up and remove duplicates.

Citations

Citations are the listings of your name, address and phone number on directories, maps and review sites. Search engines compare them. We make sure the core ones match your Google profile exactly, fix the ones that don't and add the ones you're missing.

Review-collection routine

A short, repeatable way to ask happy customers for a Google review: a link, a card or a message template, and a note on when to ask. We also show you how to reply to reviews, including the bad ones, in under five minutes a week.

Local landing page

A page on your website written for the local search: what you do, where you do it, how to reach you, with the structured data that tells Google this is a real business at a real address.

Optional monthly upkeep

After setup, an optional monthly check: posts and photos on your profile, hours updated for holidays, new citations, review replies if you'd rather hand them off, and a one-page summary of calls, direction requests and profile views.

How it runs

Two weeks to set up, then it's yours to keep

A typical local SEO setup takes two weeks. You'll need to give us access to your Google listing (or help us claim it), confirm your business details and take a few photos. After that, the routine fits into one short session a week.

Check where you stand

We search for your business the way a customer would, from a few spots in your area, and record what appears. We list every directory that mentions you and note each mismatch in name, address or phone.

Claim and complete the profile

We claim or verify the Google Business Profile, choose the categories that match the searches you want, fill in every field and write the description. Photos go up properly named and sized.

Fix the citations

Every core listing gets corrected to match the profile exactly, down to the spelling of the street name. Duplicates are merged or removed. Missing listings on the directories that matter for your trade are added.

Build the landing page and review routine

The local page goes live on your site with structured data and a clear call or booking action. You get the review link, the ask template and a short guide to replying. We walk through it with you on a call.

Handover, or keep going

Everything is in your accounts. You can run the routine yourself from here, or keep us on monthly for posts, updates and a summary of what the profile is doing. Either is fine.

Proof

The first case study is being written

Local SEO is a new service and the first case study will come from the first engagement. The setup work itself is the same we did for our own site: structured data, fast pages, Search Console, Bing and IndexNow, all verified and measured. The numbers here are productgurus.ai's own. We'd rather show you those than invent a client.

Questions we get on the first call

Straight answers before you book

Do I need a website for this to work?

A Google Business Profile works without one, and for some businesses that's enough to start. A local landing page helps, because it gives Google a page to match the search against. If you don't have a site, we can build a small one alongside this; see websites.

How long until I see results?

Profile changes usually show within days. Map ranking shifts over weeks as citations get picked up and reviews accumulate. We set up the profile's own reporting so you can see calls, direction requests and views month by month rather than guessing. We don't promise a position; nobody honest can.

Can you get me reviews?

We can't and won't write or buy them. Fake reviews get listings suspended. What we do is make asking easy and habitual: a link, a template, a moment in your process where the ask fits naturally. Businesses that ask consistently get reviews consistently.

What are citations and why do they matter?

A citation is any listing of your business name, address and phone number on another site: directories, maps, review platforms, trade associations. Search engines cross-check them against your Google profile. When they all agree, your listing looks trustworthy. When they don't, it looks uncertain, and uncertain listings rank lower.

I serve customers at their homes. Does this still apply?

Yes. Google Business Profile supports service-area businesses, where you hide your address and list the areas you cover instead. The setup is slightly different and the categories matter more. We handle both storefront and service-area listings.

Can I stop the monthly option?

Yes, it's month to month and everything stays in your accounts. Pricing for setup and monthly is quoted after a call.

Next step

Tell us your business name and neighbourhood. Before the call we'll look at what the map shows today, and in 30 minutes we'll tell you what a two-week setup would change.
